Functional road art.
Two vintage machines, a classic Jaguar & Learjet, designed to function symbiotically together.
This modified Jaguar V12 dually is a theatrical performance on wheels.
There is NOTHING quite like it. And it’s all very functional.
Bulletproof glass fabricated into oval portholes.
Inspiration drawn from a combination of aircraft & ships, for which I work by trade.
Re-designed windscreen absent A-pillars and strengthened in center while allowing for unobstructed visibility for towing.
Bold ram-air Intake coolant fan. A flip of one of the vintage style Lucas toggle switches and the air drawn within is aided and expelled via the pressed louvers on the hood.
For utiliarian presence, 1200 rivets have been panel punched by hand.
Vortex generators incorporated to reduce drag and the expulsion of wind resistance.
Strategically placed aerodynamic fins designed in such a way that once air passes over the roof fin, in theory, the wind disturbance is channeled in such a way that it vacates to either outboard direction thereby reducing drag.
The Jaguar XJ-S, in stock form, was designed to be more aerodynamic than the iconic E-type. An already inherently stable car, now has a 1 ton dually rear axle.
Further strengthening had been done fore and aft to strengthen the entire car to accommodate for towing and rigidity but without compromising the luxury ride-quality.
The modified & brute 4.11 rear gear ratio is coupled to a 700R4 transmission while adjusted to the ideal powerband of the V12’s capability for 30% better economy over stock.
An unobstructed exhaust vacated via the leg pipes add to its signature sound and flair.
The result is a very stable, charming, and nimble one ton functional art car.
Designed as the most aerodynamic tow & trailer combination on the road.
The Jaguar V-12's beauty isn't only skin deep. It also has the MOST colorful engine in the WORLD.
